There is no course tuition for Revival Bible Study attendees or their guests. \nTraining firearms and ammunition will also be provided at no cost\, so you do not need to own a firearm to participate. \nStudents are responsible only for the separate LVMPD application\, fingerprint/background check\, and processing fees associated with applying for a Nevada Concealed Firearm Permit. \nUpon successful completion of the course\, each student will receive the required course-completion documentation. You will then visit LVMPD when you are able\, to submit your application and required documentation and complete the official permit application process. \nBringing Your Own Firearm? \nYou are absolutely welcome to bring your own PEW PEW! \nIf you have your own firearm\, bring whatever you have. If you have 100 rounds of ammunition or less\, bring that with you too. \nIf you do not have enough ammunition—or do not have any ammunition at all—don’t worry! We will have 9mm\, .40 S&W\, and .45 ACP ammunition available for the training. \nIf your firearm is chambered in another caliber\, bring whatever ammunition you already have and let us know. We will work with you based on the equipment and ammunition available. \nIMPORTANT — Transporting Your Firearm \nYour firearm MUST be completely unloaded and secured inside a firearm case\, range bag\, box\, or other appropriate container when you arrive. \nLadies: Your purse does NOT count! 😂 Please don’t scare the instructors. \nDo not arrive with a loaded firearm in your purse\, waistband\, holster\, or otherwise on your person. \nYour firearm should remain unloaded and secured until an instructor directs you otherwise at the range. \nDon’t Have Your Own Firearm? \nNo Problem! \nYou do not need to own a firearm or purchase ammunition to participate in this class. \nAll necessary training firearms and ammunition are being provided for you at no cost. \nIf you do not have your own firearm\, you do not need to bring anything firearm-related. Our instructors will provide the equipment you need and will work with you throughout the live-fire portion of the course. \nIf this will be your first time handling or firing a firearm\, that is completely okay! Our instructors will guide you through the process with an emphasis on safety\, proper handling\, confidence\, and responsible firearm ownership. \nReserve Your Seat \nAdvance registration is required. \nBecause firearms\, ammunition\, training materials\, and instructor resources are being prepared specifically for your group\, an accurate head count is very important. \nPlease reserve your seat only if you plan to attend the full training day. \nSome attendees have been approved to bring an additional guests. If you are one of those attendees\, please make sure we have your guests contact information so we can verify their registration process. \nWe need an individual registration for every person attending so we can properly prepare firearms\, ammunition\, training materials\, and course documentation. \nWe look forward to welcoming the women of Revival Bible Study and their approved guests for a special day of community\, learning\, and building confidence in a safe and supportive environment. \nOur goal is for every participant to leave feeling more knowledgeable\, more confident\, and better prepared\, while also understanding the responsibility that comes with carrying a firearm. \nConfidence • Responsibility • Preparedness \nNevada Association of Certified Firearms Instructors (NVACFI)\n& Shots Fired Training \n Firearm Eligibility Notification & Course Acknowledgment\nBy registering for or participating in this course\, each participant acknowledges and represents that they are lawfully permitted to possess\, handle\, and use firearms and ammunition under applicable federal\, state\, and local law. \nParticipants further acknowledge that they are not legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition\, including\, where applicable\, because of a disqualifying felony conviction\, qualifying misdemeanor crime of domestic violence\, qualifying restraining or protective order\, or unlawful use of or addiction to a controlled substance. \nRegistration for this course constitutes the participant’s acknowledgment of their legal eligibility to possess and handle firearms and ammunition. \nAny person who is uncertain about their legal eligibility should not handle or possess a firearm or ammunition until they have confirmed their eligibility under applicable law. \nAny questions regarding firearm eligibility should be directed to the Chief Instructor at info@shotsfiredlv.com prior to registering for this course.

SUMMARY:CFI Con’t Education | 2026 PILB Armed Course Curriculum Development
DESCRIPTION:Greetings\, all Nevada PILB Certified Firearm Instructors! (CFI’s) \nThe time has come to replace the outdated Armed Security Training Curriculum with a modern real-world course that can be effectively implemented across operational and time-based demands. Without a clear understanding of the facts and realities facing today’s armed security professionals\, training standards risk becoming overly complicated and outright ineffective. For this reason\, I am hosting a Certified Firearms Instructor (CFI) Continuing Education course to bring instructors together to discuss and shape the future of Nevada’s Armed Security Training Program. \nThe cost of this course has been fully covered by the Nevada Association of Certified Firearms Instructors (NVACFI)\, making it free to all currently licensed CFIs. The priority is not cost\, but collaboration—bringing instructors together to develop a curriculum grounded in education\, training\, and real-world experience\, rather than opinions from individuals who are not firearms instructors or who lack regular instructional experience. \nThis meeting will play a critical role in shaping the future of Nevada’s Armed Security Training Program and will directly impact the implementation and training requirements of pending regulations involving Handgun\, AR-15 platforms and shotguns. These decisions must be made by CFIs—those who stand on the line and bear responsibility when triggers are pulled. It is imperative that we actively participate in the discussions that will define the future of our profession and our state. \nTo be clear\, meetings held over the past 18 months have identified and confirmed deficiencies in the current curriculum\, recognized outdated training standards and regulations requiring correction\, and produced preliminary outlines for a completely revised training curriculum. These efforts have already received broad support from those involved. We now face a choice: to be part of the solution or part of the problem. A single voice may fade\, but a unified group will not be ignored. \nIf you are unable to attend the scheduled course date\, additional sessions will be offered in the coming weeks\, and remote participation options will also be available. For questions or additional information\, please contact the course instructor via email at Andrew@nvacfi.com. \nEquipment required for this course. \nNote-Taking Materials: Instructors are encouraged to bring any curriculums or training materials they believe may contribute to productive discussion with fellow instructors. While time is limited\, the instructor is prepared to present the issues at hand and will thoroughly consider input from other Certified Firearms Instructors (CFIs) who wish to contribute to the development of a revised training curriculum. \nLocation: 2280 East Pama Ln Suite 100\, Las Vegas NV\, 89119

It is imperative that we actively participate in the discussions that will define the future of our profession and our state.\nTo be clear\, meetings held over the past 18 months have identified and confirmed deficiencies in the current curriculum\, recognized outdated training standards and regulations requiring correction\, and produced preliminary outlines for a completely revised training curriculum. These efforts have already received broad support from those involved. We now face a choice: to be part of the solution or part of the problem. A single voice may fade\, but a unified group will not be ignored.\nIf you are unable to attend the scheduled course date\, additional sessions will be offered in the coming weeks\, and remote participation options will also be available. For questions or additional information\, please contact the course instructor via email at Andrew@nvacfi.com.\nEquipment required for this course. \nNote-Taking Materials: Instructors are encouraged to bring any curriculums or training materials they believe may contribute to productive discussion with fellow instructors. While time is limited\, the instructor is prepared to present the issues at hand and will thoroughly consider input from other Certified Firearms Instructors (CFIs) who wish to contribute to the development of a revised training curriculum.\nLocation: 2280 East Pama Ln Suite 100\, Las Vegas NV\, 89119
