DESCRIPTION:Welcome\, Revival Bible Study! \nThis private course has been arranged especially for the Revival Bible Study community and is designed to provide a welcoming\, supportive environment where participants can learn firearm safety\, responsible ownership\, basic handgun operation\, and personal preparedness. \nWhether you are completely new to firearms or have limited handgun experience\, our instructors will guide you through the course with an emphasis on safe firearm handling\, basic handgun operation\, confidence\, responsibility\, and sound decision-making. \nIntro to Handgun Course \nNever fired a handgun before? This course is for you. \nThe Nevada Association of Certified Firearms Instructors (NVACFI) and Shots Fired Training are pleased to offer a special Intro to Handgun Course for Revival Bible Study members and their approved guests. \nThis course is designed specifically for new and inexperienced shooters who want additional hands-on instruction before attending the Nevada CCW course. \nCourse Information \nDate: Friday\, October 16\, 2026\nTime: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM\nLocation: Clark County Shooting Complex — Education Center\, 50 Yard Lane\n11357 N Decatur Blvd\nLas Vegas\, NV 89131 \nThis is a single-location course. All instruction and live-fire training will take place at the Clark County Shooting Complex. \n⚠️ STUDENT NOTICE ⚠️ \nCheck-In: 9:00 AM–9:30 AM\nMandatory Safety Briefing: 9:30 AM \n🚨 ALL participants are required to attend the complete safety briefing. \nParticipants who arrive late and miss any portion of the safety briefing will not be permitted to participate in the course for safety reasons. \n⚠️ Please ensure you arrive on time. We cannot waive\, shorten\, or bypass the mandatory safety briefing requirement. \nNO SAFETY BRIEF = NO PARTICIPATION. \nWhat You Will Learn \nStudents will receive introductory instruction focused on: \n\nThe basic rules of firearm safety\nSafe handgun handling\nLoading and unloading\nBasic handgun operation\nProper grip and shooting fundamentals\nRange commands and procedures\nLive-fire practice\nBuilding confidence and familiarity with a handgun\n\nNo previous firearms experience is required. \nAll Equipment Is Provided \nYou do not need to own a firearm or purchase ammunition to attend. \nTraining firearms\, ammunition\, and necessary range equipment will be provided for you. \nIf you have never handled or fired a handgun before\, that is completely okay. Our instructors will provide the equipment and guide you through each step of the training. \nBringing Your Own Firearm? \nYou are welcome to bring your own PEW PEW! \nIf you own a handgun and would like to become more familiar with it\, you are encouraged to bring it with you. \nStudents who bring their own firearms should also bring whatever ammunition they already have available. \nHowever\, even if you bring your own firearm\, training firearms and equipment provided by the instructors may also be used during the course. This allows students to experience different equipment and ensures instructors can properly demonstrate the techniques being taught. \nImportant Firearm Transport Requirement \nAny personal firearm brought to the course must arrive: \nUNLOADED and secured inside a firearm case\, range bag\, box\, or other appropriate container. \nPlease do not arrive with a loaded firearm on your person\, in a purse\, or otherwise unsecured. \nYour firearm must remain unloaded and secured until an instructor directs you to remove or load it. \nGuests Are Welcome \nRevival Bible Study members may also attend with an approved guest. \nEach guest must register separately and provide their own information so that we can prepare the appropriate firearms\, ammunition\, training materials\, and equipment for every participant. \nGuests are subject to the same course requirements and firearm-safety rules as all other attendees. \nStrongly Recommended for New Shooters \nIf you have never fired a handgun before\, we strongly recommend attending this Intro to Handgun Course before the Nevada CCW training day on October 17. \nThe goal is to give you additional time to become comfortable with firearm safety\, basic handgun operation\, and live-fire shooting in a relaxed and supportive environment before completing the CCW course. \nSafety • Confidence • Fundamentals • Preparedness \nNevada Association of Certified Firearms Instructors (NVACFI)\n& Shots Fired Training \n  \n👕 What Should I Wear? \nPlease dress for an outdoor firearms training environment. \nRequired / Strongly Recommended: \n\nPants — jeans\, tactical pants\, or similar durable pants with belt loops and 1.5” – 2” belt.\nClosed-toe shoes. (No sandals\, Flips Flops\, or exposed toe shoes. Think GI Joe goes hiking! That theme is perfect! Lol ) \nA belt — please make every effort to bring and wear one\, as some training equipment requires a belt to function properly\nLong sleeves are preferred\nHat or ball cap encouraged\nSunscreen\nWater and snacks\n\nPlease do not wear tank tops\, crop tops\, low-cut tops\, or clothing that unnecessarily exposes large areas of skin. \nProper clothing helps protect you from sun exposure\, hot brass\, and minor range-related scrapes\, while also allowing training equipment to be worn safely and correctly. There is also the occasional mosquito. J \n Firearm Eligibility Notification & Course Acknowledgment\nBy registering for or participating in this course\, each participant acknowledges and represents that they are lawfully permitted to possess\, handle\, and use firearms and ammunition under applicable federal\, state\, and local law. \nParticipants further acknowledge that they are not legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition\, including\, where applicable\, because of a disqualifying felony conviction\, qualifying misdemeanor crime of domestic violence\, qualifying restraining or protective order\, or unlawful use of or addiction to a controlled substance. \nRegistration for this course constitutes the participant’s acknowledgment of their legal eligibility to possess and handle firearms and ammunition. \nAny person who is uncertain about their legal eligibility should not handle or possess a firearm or ammunition until they have confirmed their eligibility under applicable law. \nAny questions regarding firearm eligibility should be directed to the Chief Instructor at info@shotsfiredlv.com prior to registering for this course.
