NV PILB CLASS ( MAY 16, 2025 and MAY 19, 2025) SPLIT DAY COURSE

This is a TWO DAY course and full attendance to both days is Required to pass the course.

Course Days: 

Day 1 (MAY 16, 2025): Classroom learning and an Exam on course Material.

8:00 AM- 5:30 PM

Day 2 ( MAY 19,2025) : Participants will be on an Outdoor shooting range.

8:00 AM- 5:30 PM

Cost of course includes the following on the outdoor shooting range day:

1. Use of Duty Belt.
2. Use of Holster and Spare mag pouches.
3. Use of Gun and spare mags.
4. Ammo provided for practice and Qualification.
5. Processing Fee to the NV PILB to submit course Pass or Fail Results.

This is a Pass or Fail course. A live fire pass or fail shooting qualification will be given by the instructor. Scores will be distributed the following  business day.  

THIS COURSE IS NON REFUNDABLE. By signing up for this course you acknowledge that NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason. 

Requirements:

• Letter from a PILB licensed Qualified manager sponsoring you for this course. Letter must be provided directly to the instructor for you to attend this course.
• Unexpired unarmed work card. The instructor will check your physical card upon arrival. If you do not have your card with you on the first day of class you will be scheduled for the next following course.
• Must be able to physically stand and kneel on both knees.
• Must be able to physically manipulate a Semi- Automatic Firearm; lock slide to the rear, load and unload magazines, eject magazine from magwell, rack slide and pull a trigger with index finger.
• Note-taking materials such as tablet, laptop or pen and paper.
• Participants must arrive dressed in Full Company Uniform.
• Closed Toe Shoes or security work boots must be worn on the range.
• Pants with a belt loops and an inner belt must be worn on the range.
• Late arrivals will NOT be allowed to participate.
• Failure to show up to either days equates to you forfeiting your payment and no refunds will be given.
• Must not have worked the graveyard shift the evening / morning prior to either day of the course.
• Must not have consumed any alcohol or controlled substance within 24 hours of the course.
• Must bring your own food and water on both days. The lunch break is not long enough for you to leave and come back with food. Additionally there are NO places to purchase food on or near the live fire range.
• Must NOT be a prohibited person under NV law NRS 202.360.
• Must Learn and know the 4 firearm safety rules.
• Respectful attitude towards instructors, staff and classmates.
• Understanding that the use of cell Phones during the course is Prohibited.
