This course is for new firearm owners and new shooters that have little to NO EXPERIENCE shooting. Ammunition and firearms are provided for this course. This course focuses on the absolute basics of shooting fundamentals. Subject matters covered consist of firearm safety in and outside the home, transporting to and from shooting ranges, and while shooting at indoor or outdoor shooting ranges. Additional topics discussed are Grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, loading, unloading, anticipating recoil, follow-through, firearms nomenclature, general maintenance, liability, and legal aspects. Again, this course is for new shooters that may have never fired a firearm or are seeking a formal beginner firearms class or a refresher, to the elementary fundamentals of firearms shooting.
